Confidentiality and Ethical Practice Explained:
The content of our sessions is confidential, and our work together will be conducted in accordance with the BACP ethical framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Arriving For Sessions
When you arrive at the clinic, please come straight through the door which is at street level adjacent to the café entrance. If you make your way up the short flight of stairs, my room is round to the right hand side.
There is no waiting area in the Clinic, so please arrive as close as possible to your appointment time. I understand that occasionally you may be late through no fault of your own, but therapy sessions must always end on time.
Cancellations
Should you need to cancel an appointment, please call or text me on my mobile 07976 429917. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice then unfortunately the full fee will be incurred. In the unlikely event that I need to cancel our session, I will let you know as soon as possible and will offer you an alternative appointment time for the same week.
Fees
Sessions are one hour in duration, and cost £60.00
I can accept cash, cheque or a bank transfer. Payment is required on the day of our session. If paying by cheque, please make payable to Jayne Shirley-Smith, if paying by bank transfer please use your initials and the date of our session as a reference to ensure confidentiality.
